“ Been here a few times. First review tho. Friday happy hour was packed at 6pm and in a good way. Looked like all regulars, bit of an older crowd, by 8pm that all changed to a nice mix. Plenty of food and drink specials, I had the Friday $10.95 Fish & Chip special, wow! Amazing and solid, nice size portion, not greasy and super tasty. Beer is cold, bartenders super attentive and actually called me by name. A solid spot that i gotta come to more often. No phoney, overpriced nonsense or egos. A local bar with locals. Literally a hidden gem on Merrick Ave. ”
“ Great local Irish pub in Merrick. Best Guinness around. Wings are delicious and they have a ton of TV's to watch the games. ”
“ Sunday afternoon great to watch some sports. 3 big screen TVs at the bar and more smaller tvs around. Some Draft beers were $5 and some bottles $4. Great service. Menu has lots of food to choose. I tried the dynamite fries and they were really good with lots of jalapeños. ”
“ Decent local bar. Good company, live music, and NFL playoffs kept me entertained. Widow Jqne 12 year neat with a side of water was a nicely savored sipper. Our friend's star stealer was a gorgeous perfectly executed jumbo pretzel. Cheese sauce too thin, so that's a pass. The pretzel stands deliciously on it's own. ”
“ Definitely a regulars bar. Never had the food but they have a lot of good beer on draft. Can get pretty packed. Super loud, good for big groups. Very average, but good for a drink if you are in the area. Lots of tables too. ”
“ Paddy's is one of my go to Thursday night karaoke venues. It was when I used to drink and go to karaoke years ago and has become a go-to place again years later now that I'm sober, going through a divorce and am doing karaoke again on Thursday nights when my son is with his dad. Karaoke gets pretty wild here, most of the crowd is younger than I am but I still get along with them. The energy here is crowded and amazing. I usually just get a seltzer I'm not sure if they serve coffee. I love Paddy's for karaoke! ”
“ Solid bar with pretty good beer selection. They are meticulously following COVID rules and have plenty of space between tables. They also setup tables against the bar with plastic dividers so you can still feel like you're drinking at the bar while eating Cuomo fries. Staff is friendly. Music is good until college girls come in and blast techno. Definitely more of a pub than anything else but the app sampler will hold you over in the food department. ”
“ Came here for drinks for a getaway night out... Surprisingly not too crowded on a weeknight...maybe since were there early around 7pm. I heard that it does usually get crowded. Nice Big tv screens by the bar to watch baseball or other sports on. Couldn't hear the game but was there more for the company I was with. Service was good as we just went for drinks - wine and beer were good. Check out the happy hour specials. Wow, they have karaoke here too...interesting.. Good location - not too far from LIRR station in Merrick. Will come back to eat and watch sports...or a just a have a night out on the town. ”
